John Witteman is the founder and driving force behind Blksm media.

He communicates, creates, films and edits. Every project with the same goal: making something the client is happy with and that he can look back on with pride.

Driven by his love for film, John started Blksm media in 2016. Some 10 years and hundreds of films later, it's grown into a video production company with a distinctive style and a unique feel for quality. John is involved in the entire process. From the first conversation to the creative concept. From filming and directing to the final edit. Nothing escapes John's sharp eye.

Lotte Mulder Lotte Mulder

Anything to do with creation, communication and storytelling is in safe hands with Lotte Mulder.

As a media producer she's involved in many parts of Blksm media. She creates concepts, writes copy, designs, edits and works on Blksm media's online presence.

Lotte makes sure ideas don't just stay ideas. She brings structure, looks at the details and helps develop projects into something that truly works. With her feel for visuals, language and communication, she safeguards the look and feel of every project.

Creative, precise and with a great positive energy. That makes Lotte an important force within the team.

Stan van Dijk Stan van Dijk

At Blksm media, Stan van Dijk focuses on filming, editing and creating creative social media video content.

During productions he makes sure the right shots get captured. And whenever something is needed for social media, Stan knows exactly what to do.

He picks the right look and considers how content best fits the place where it will be seen. From short socials to behind-the-scenes footage. With a curious eye, Stan is always looking for new ways to make productions better and more creative. Sitting still isn't really his thing. With his energy, eagerness to learn and passion for video, Stan is a real asset to the team.

On set, behind the computer or simply wherever something needs sorting.

Mirthe Janssen Mirthe Janssen

Production assistant Mirthe Janssen is the newest addition to the Blksm team and has quickly made herself indispensable.

Mirthe knows exactly what goes into the production of a film. She preps shoot days down to the last detail, from building shooting schedules to supporting the crew on location. She also thinks along in the edit, where her tight prep lays the groundwork for the rest of the team.

One thing's for sure: Mirthe is always on. With endless enthusiasm and a proactive attitude, she makes sure every project starts off well prepared. She likes to think along, rolls up her sleeves and helps deliver a strong end result.

Open, driven and always there for you. Mirthe is someone you can count on.

Floris Jonker Floris Jonker

Floris Jonker is always there to perfect the audio. As the owner of Kudo Media he might just be Blksm's oldest friend. On set with us or in his own studio, Floris knows exactly which sounds or voice we need.

Oh, and as a licensed drone pilot he also shoots impressive aerials.

Sebastiaan Rodenhuis Sebastiaan Rodenhuis

Sebastiaan Rodenhuis is an artist with a camera. Want great photos alongside your video? Then we give Sebas a call, knowing for sure you'll get beautiful shots.

Besides visuals, this man is good with words too. So we're happy to leave the copywriting to him.
